PhotoIreland Festival is calling artists to submit work that was created to examine any type of conflict and its effects, to be exhibited at Pallas Projects, 4-14 May 2017.

Call for works: The Recount of Conflict
Deadline: 10th April 2017

The Recount of Conflict is open to projects focused on the disruption of the everyday life of individuals, families, communities, organisations, countries, etc. Whether dealing with ‘race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status’, established and emerging artists are welcome to put forward their works.

We are particularly interested in looking at personal recounts, dramatisations, re-contextualisations of the events that once took place. The selected project or projects will be on display at Pallas Projects from the 4th to the 14th of May, and the exhibition will be part of the main exhibitions of this year’s edition.

To submit, first download the RECOUNT17 Submission Form [link removed], and read it in full. There is an administration fee of €10 per submission. Proceed with the fee payment via bank transfer or PayPal. Finally, fill in all the details in the form and email it to pif.submissions@gmail.com with ‘RECOUNT 2017’ as the subject. Deadline is midnight 10th April, and there will be no extensions.

Should you have any further questions, please contact pif.submissions@gmail.com
